The Friends started work on this area some 5 years ago by converting the original black tarmac area into traditional paving.

Over the years, it was further improved with the addition of several small projects such as a weighing machine, kiosk, baggage trolleys and some traditional seating.

This vision has now been taken to a new level by the Severn Valley Railway, to cover the area with a fully glazed canopy in traditional GWR style. The Friends have been proud to provide design detail as required.
