This hut had been donated from a smallholding, for possible use at Kidderminster and looked a little worse for wear. - with no door!!

Bob Brown and Mick Yarker made a door frame, hinges and a hasp and cladding for the door frame. The next job was to plant it alongside the access gates opposite the signal box and finish the job with a nice coat of bitumen black paint.

The end result is a little bit of the old GWR back in use

It will make an interesting contrast to the GWR lamp hut painted in light and dark stone colours adjacent to the signalbox.
