Oct 1997 The Horse Trough is seen here in a field alongside the main Wolverhampton Road.  It is clear from its' condition and barbed wire content, that it has been many years since a horse drank from it.  We obtained permission from the land owner and the council to recover it for refurbishment and use during Heavy Horse and Gala weekends.
	Aug 2000 Following a recent heritage initiative by the council, we have agreed to donate the trough back to Sedgely to be placed within its' original heritage setting. A pattern to cast a replica is seen here under construction.
	Feb 2001 Here we can see the fruits of this very challenging project. The newly cast replica has just been transported to the Station forecourt where it will receive final fitting out.	BACK
